Congratulations to the Boy's Varsity for being
named the Madison County Tournament Champions.
The all tournament team players are Josh, Chase, Jonathan and Ian.
Also a big thanks to Andrea Thompson for sending me this info for the Boy's
Varsity team.

We will hold our annual Maroon and Black Jamboree Saturday, February 4th. Girls’
Varsity will play Girls' JV at 12:00 pm. At 2:00 pm the Boys’ Varsity and Boys'
JV will play 40minutes. The second half will be between Boys' JV and Boys' B
team for 40 minutes. We hope everyone will come out and see the results of all
the hard work the players and coaches have put into the season so far.
Concessions will be open for this event. Admission will be charged for the
jamboree.
We will be collecting the final payment for fees and coupon books, including any
missed payments, during the Jamboree. We will have an area setup to make those
payments. It is important to make full payment and/or discuss with us reasons
for non-payment.

Added the weekly schedule in excel format to the menu above. Coach Amar will

a weekly schedule update which I will attach to that link above on the far
right.

The next payment and the first fundraiser turn-in will be Tuesday Jan. 10th.
Please come
by the SHS lunchroom between 5:30 pm and 6:45 pm to make your payment ($185) and
turn-in any fundraisers collected. We are not having a meeting so you can come
and go
during this time. We will have a count per player of money received from the
60-30 Kickoff
mail-out and fee offsets from all fundraisers will reduce your payment. Final
order for spirit
wear will also be due that night. If you have any questions, please contact me

5-Dec-2011 SHS Soccer has reserved the cafeteria and Room 147
at the main campus
from 7:00 – 9:00 on 12th of December. We will have a meeting with the players and
parents, Please make every effort to attend.

25-Oct-2011 "Soccer field day coming in January. The specific date
will be announced soon.
We will need all players (boys and girls) along with as many parents as possible
to come
out and help get the fields ready for games. We will be hanging a new back drop
net on
the south end of the soccer field as well as stripping the fields, cutting the
grass, burying
a control wire to the score board, getting the nets on the goals and just
cleaning up
around the fields. If everyone shows up at the 9:00 start time we should be done
by 12:00." If you have access to a bucket truck to help install the
back drop net or have any
questions about field day please contact Darryl Anderson via
email.

Soccer Booster Club will have an informational meeting on Monday, October 24 at 7:00 pm in the SHS lunch room.
This is our Kick Off Meeting
for the season. It is very important that a parent/guardian of each interested
player
attend the meeting. We will discuss the plans for the upcoming season, tryouts,
and
introduce our new coaches.
