Coaching Philosophy for High School Age Players: I enjoy coaching high school age kids because of the unique challenges it presents. I believe I can use my playing, coaching, and professional/leadership experience to help guide student athletes towards success after high school. High school age players go through a lot of changes in their lives so they need a good balance of discipline, encouragement, and a sense of achievement and belonging in what they are doing.

Philosophy on Priorities of a Student Athlete: I have a BS and MS degree from Mississippi State University in Aerospace Engineering. Naturally, I believe education is important. I can teach players on how to manage priorities so that they are successful on the field and in the classroom. If a player is struggling in the classroom, I believe that is my first priority.

Other applicable skills, considerations or comments: Received leadership training through the Kouzes/Posner Leadership Challenge, attended 4 leadership training academies. I can help develop leadership skills in players so that they succeed in high school, college, and life.
