Reuben Seidl
Program Director/Head Coach
Reuben Seidl was born in Anchorage and has been around the soccer pitch since before he could walk. He grew up playing competitive soccer in Anchorage, including Alaska ODP. In high school, Reuben played varsity soccer for four years and was selected as team captain in his Junior and Senior seasons. Throughout college and continuing today, Reuben has stayed involved with soccer by reffing, coaching, managing, and playing, and he most enjoys helping and watching his fellow teammates hone their skills, compete competitively, and have fun on the field. Reuben first began coaching youth at 14, joined the SHS coaching staff in 2019, and is excited to lead the Service program to new levels. Reuben holds the U.S. Soccer Grassroots license and is currently in the process of attaning the U.S. Soccer D license. Go Cougars!!!

Adam Ahonen
Assistant Coach - Varsity
Adam has been a teacher at Service for the last 19 years. He has also been a coach of girls soccer at Service on and off for the last 14 years and is excited to be back as the assistant coach with the program. Adam played varsity soccer for three years in high school and was captain during his senior year. He played college soccer at Minnesota State University Moorhead and helped his team qualify for the nationals for three of those years. Adam began his coaching journey in Minnesota as the Head Coach of several traveling club teams and as the assistant coach for the Boy's High School Varsity program. Additionally, Adam started TOPS Soccer in Minnesota to bring soccer and a healthy lifestyle to new athletes with disabilities. Adam is CPR/First Aid certified and holds the NFHS/NSCAA Fundamentals of Coaching.

Joe Schmid
Head Coach - Junior Varsity
Joe was born and raised in New York and just recently moved out to Anchorage for a teaching job. He has played soccer his whole life including club soccer with the Yorktown Knights and 3 years of varsity soccer. He then played club soccer for two years at SUNY Brockport where he earned a degree in physical education.

Kaitlyn Stafford
Head Coach - Junior Varsity
Kaitlyn was born and raised in Anchorage, AK, and has been playing soccer since she was the age of 5. Kaitlyn played competitive with AYSC '92 Girls' Team for just over 8 years, winning Alaska State Cup in 2007 and competing in 2008's West Regionals. With her comp team, Kaitlyn had the opportunity to travel all across the country playing in tournaments and participating in training camps. She even had the opportunity to experience playing youth from other countries while visiting Germany and Holland with the AYSC '92 Girls' Team.
Kaitlyn is an alumni of Service High School and played with the Lady Cougar program for both JV and Varsity her freshman and sophomore year, winning the HS State Championship for the 08/09 season.
Kaitlyn has stayed connected with soccer through the years with some voluntary and assistant coaching, along with participating in several adult co-ed rec teams.
This year is Kaitlyn's first year coaching for the Lady Cougars and is excited to see what the season brings!
